These are pictures from our June meeting of the Historical Society when Ronnie Davis and son Joseph Davis told the members a story of a  plane that was built from a kit in Georgetown, Tn.  The plane was built by the Hooper brothers and flew across the river and back.  They got so scared when they landed the plane that they immediately dismanteled it, never to fly again.  This is the propeller that was given to Ronnie   by Harry Murray for his keeping.  The propeller is on display at the museum for anyone to come in and see.  Does any else know the story?  If so please contact the museum at 423-334-4424 with the information.
